Dehydrated Onion Flakes (also called Kibbled Onions) are dried pieces of onion that retain the flavor and aroma of fresh onions but have a much longer shelf life. They're commonly used in cooking, especially in dry mixes, seasonings, and convenience foods.
How to Use:
Rehydration: Soak in warm water for 15–20 minutes if you want a soft texture.
Direct Use: Add directly to dishes with moisture (soups, curries, gravies).
Grind: You can grind them to make onion powder.
Storage:
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.
Shelf life: 12–24 months if stored properly.
